Free Pro 2’s Touch controls have gone haywire

For seemingly no reason (no temperature change, no water damage or exposure, charged with original cable) my free pro 2's touch controls randomly go off on its own. The volume will go up and down rapidly while connected to my phone and randomly turn on Siri. The touch sensors aren't dirty at all, I'm not in a humid environment and my hair isn't wet or even touching the sensors, this is all during normal use exactly how I've used them for about 3 months now. Sadly because the app doesn't support the free pro 2's I can't disable the touch controls, or I would just do that.

Hi friend,

Thanks for choosing EarFun. Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

We kindly suggest you  reset and reconnect the earbuds per the updated steps:

Step 1. Delete the old connection from the Bluetooth device.

Step 2. Place both earbuds into the charging case.

Step 3. Keep the charging case open, then touch and hold the button on each earbud at the same time for at least 10s until they flash alternately in blue and white then earbuds have been reset successfully.

Step 4. Search and reconnect “EarFun Free Pro 2".

After connecting the earbuds to your device, please leave them on the table without touching them to check whether it is still the same issue.

If the above methods still could not solve your issues, please email our customer service team via service@myearfun.com or submit the warranty ticket on our official website: https://www.myearfun.com/process-warranty. EarFun provides an 18-month warranty for every product. Your satisfaction is always greatly important to us.

Sincerely,

EarFun Customer Service Team

I'm having the exact same issue. I tried factory resetting multiple times, with no success.

I've removed and added the device, put them in and out of the case, everything I can think of.

What can I try next? I'ts super annoying and makes it really hard to work when the volume keeps going up and down, noise cancelling and game mode are being urned on and off every so often, and so on.

A quick response would be much  appreciated! Thanks!
