Swapping earbuds to another case

Hi,

2 months ago I lost my  case with one earbud in it so I bought another set. Now I have broken one of my new earbuds. I still have the new charging case.

So can I  link the old  ear bud  (left) with the  my new right earbud and charge them in the one case
