so far, my uboom l has been flashed with firmwares 43 and 44 (shipped with 50).
43 and 44 both sound great. 50 sounds bad.
43 has zero issues with video mode but, no battery indicator on the speaker nor on ios
44 (to my understanding) should include a battery indicatior via ios. Instead, there is only an indicator on the speaker itself and still no battery indicator on ios. 44 also has issues with video mode (crackling sound) and therefore, it's unusable.
Can someone please provide some assistance/clarification regarding the firmwares and their features for the uboom l
firmware 43 was perfectly fine but, the lack of any kind of battery indication was driving me crazy. I had no idea how much charge was left so, I decided to upgrade to 44 for the battery indicator update. 44 brought only one change - a battery indicator on the speaker but still, nothing about the battery was visible through my iphone's bluetooth settings.
this speaker sounds good (on firmware 43 and 44) but, I'm starting to wonder if my money spent on this speaker is worth all the headaches... i have not tried firmware 45 46 47 48 49 (assuming they exist) and am willing to test them out if anyone knows where to find them.
