Uboom X Firmware Update

Hello, my Uboom X just arrived with firmware 0.33.

There is an update to 0.36 for it in the app but it doesn't seem that the updater is working. Tried with 2 phones, and left it on update screen for 1 hour each phone but no progress, always stuck on transferring data.

Can anyone assist, thank you kindly

Same to me. Waiting for more than 10 minutes...no progress bar

I have the same issue.

I just got two  of these and they are stuck on 0.33.

I am trying to update but nothing is happening.

The app is not using any data so it is obviously not connecting to the server properly.

And I have not refused any rights to the app. So it should work.  But it doesn't.  I don't have any VPN or system wide ad blocking or anything that could block a connection.

The speakers are found and usable as any other over Bluetooth but the just can't be firmware updated. So no one of  Oluv's EQ is working. 

I have sent a mail to support.

Did any of you guys get it sorted in the end? 

If you did how did you fix it? And what did support say about it? Because I assume you contacted them about it.

I got it to work.

I  not sure exactly how or why.

But this is why I did.

I was messing with them.

And connecting and disconnecting.

And the first soeakee I was trying over and over that didn't want to update. I shut that off and connected only to the other and them turned on the first and then TWS'ed them.

And then disconnected them first one.

And only had the second one connected and them I tried to update again and for some reason this time the little lights on the speaker started to blink showing that it was downloading the firmware and the bar on the app was suddenly showing progress.

It updated fine and everything went well.

So i tried the first one with the second turned off. And this time it worked just as well.

I have no idea why it worked  now. So strange.

Anyway I hope you managed to sort it out in the end like I did.
