Hello,

I have the UBOOM L with the latest firmware 0.4.5 and i'm having issues with the connection to my 13" M1 MacBook Air. The first time when i paired the speaker it did not have any issue. But every time after that, when i connect the speaker to the laptop, it indicates that it is connected to the UBOOM L, but there is no sound coming from the speaker. Pressing any buttons on the speaker doesn't do anything. Even the power button doesn't respond, i have to try few times and wait untill the speaker powers off. And after it is off, it cannot turn on. Eventually it turns on but  i have to wait for that as well. The only workaround is to remove the device from the Macbook and pair the speaker again. This feels very bad. I'm not sure if it's because of the new firmware as i haven't connected the speaker to the laptop before the firmware upgrade.  It's like the speaker freezes when connected to the MacBook. I have an iPhone and Windows laptops and those devices do not cause the speaker to freeze and malfunction. Is it possible for you to reproduce this? Or maybe provide me with earlier firmware so that i can downgrade mine and test myself?

Not the best experience to be honest, if this doesn't get sorted i'm not sure if I would want to keep this speaker. Apart from this issue, i get the crackles when in low latency mode (there is a separate topic opened for this issue).

Thank you for posting this. I have exactly the same exprience with my macbook pro. I wish earfun would issue a software update to fix that.

Created an account to comment that I'm experiencing the same issue with pairing and having no audio with my 2019 16" MacBook Pro running MacOS Ventura 13.2.1.

Very strange as I've used many speakers with my MacBook and haven't run into this issue.

Same problem with UBOOM L 0.5.0 and MacBook Pro Ventura 13.5. I'm pretty much forced to re-pair every day. The problem doesn't seem to reproduce when just turning off the speaker but needs to the laptop to shut down.
