Working fine for around a year now, suddenly R earbud neither shows on or off

The left earbud works perfectly fine and pairs as usual with my devices, however my right earbud all of a sudden neither shows the on or off LED indication (no lights coming at all) and yet the left one still works. When charging, the green indicator (>30%) indicates that they are charged but even after charging the right earbud does not seem to show any LED lights. After this I immediately put them back on charge, only for the indicator to be red and flashing (<1%). I have repeated this charging situation and ended up with the same outcome several times (take them off after green indicator, R bud not lighting up, put back on charge and red flashing indicator). As far as I know they have not come into contact with water - is there anything I can do? Resetting both buds with the charging case button does not appear to work as the violet light only flashes on the left (as mentioned before R doesn't even light up at all)

please help :( love these earbuds they've been super reliable for around a year

As for the issue you encountered, we kindly suggest you try the below steps.

 

1. Please use the charging cable to charge the case for 2 hours.

 

2. A. Use a toothpick to gently clean the metal contacts on the earbuds and charging case to avoid dust or wax stains;

B. Clean the contacts of the earbuds and the charging case with an alcohol cotton swab; (especially the groove of the earbud contacts);

C. Rub them with clean napkins, press the earbuds with forces to eliminate loose contact with the case and charge them for around 1.5 hours to try it out. (Ensure the case has enough battery life simultaneously).

 

3. Reset and reconnect the earbuds per the updated steps:

 

Step 1. Delete the old connection from the Bluetooth device.

Step 2. Place the earbuds into the charging case and make sure they are being charged.

Step 3. Keep the charging case open, then press and hold the charging case button for 8 seconds until the LED indicator on both earbuds flash in purple 3 times.

Step 4. Search and reconnect “EarFun Air".
