Earful air pro 3 ANC doesn’t seem to work

I purchased a set of Earfun Air Pro 3 ear buds from Amazon 4 days ago and don't seem to be able to notice any difference between Normal, Ambient Sound and Noise Cancelling.i have tried reset them as suggested in a thread I read by pressing the button in the case until they flash purple and then re paired them with my phone but I still do not notice any noise cancelling. 

Any suggestions on what I could try would be appreciated.
