One of my earbuds has stopped playing sound - this is the second pair that has done this

Hello,

One of my earbuds has stopped playing sound, I have done all of the steps recommended as per reading several other comments from people having the exact same issue.

This is the second pair that I have had this issue with after less than two months of use, is this a design fault? 

I have noticed that the same reply has been posted on every thread regarding this issue. Can you give me further advice (different from cleaning, charging and resetting) or steps listded to claim a full refund please?
