Earfun air pro 3 problems

I got these earbuds yesterday and i am already having problems.

First of all, the left earbud is not connecting even after following all the steps of cleaning them, restarting my device, holding the charge case button for 8 seconds etc. Also even when it connected it would make a really high pitched sound which made my left ear hurt for a while and it would go dead again. Im thinking of getting them back and getting a new pair but before i do that is there something else i should try?
