Lights on Charging Case

I've had my earfun earbuds for maybe about a year or so but I recently ran into a problem wherein my earbud case died along with the earbuds but when I attempted to charge the case as usual it suddenly flashed a green light then proceeded as normal, flashing a red light indicating that it is charging but when I checked on it after some time (a couple of hours) I unplugged it to use the earbuds but it didn't seem to have been charged nor did it show any light when I pressed the button at the back.
