Not disconnecting

I just received my pair of Pro 3s  yesterday and already have issues with them not disconnecting when you put them in and close the case. They will stay on and connected until I manually disconnect bluetooth. I saw a thread saying to reset the earbuds and it fixes it but I have done that several times and it didn't work. Any help?
