Show codec in EarFun application on Android

Android doesn't show  which codec is active when playing audio (except deep in developer options). It would be great if EarFun app could show the active codec. It already does it for AptX, but not for LC3, AAC, LDAC or SBC. It would help a lot in debugging.

Also, "Bluetooth audio quality" and LE Audio menus should be combined. If LE audio is not compatible AptX and LDAC, the those options should be automatically turned off when LE Audio is turned on.

The Earfun app does show the codec (most of the time). Open the app, click on your connected buds in the list, then lok for the tiny writing above the pictures of the buds and below the buds' name. That said, I recently started using an app called 'Bluetooth Codec Changer' (free version), to see the codec more reliably

The Earfun Air Pro 4 are the first buds I've seen where you have to toggle off dual-connection, toggle on LDAC, and reboot the buds to enable LDAC. Similar for LE Audio ... and then  Developer Options shows nothing, the BT changer app shows nothing ... can't see anywhere what  codec it is using.

Earfun just doesn't know how to do LE Audio and LC3 codec. Basically the implementation is crap.. All that compatibility stuff is nonsense as some other buds don't have so many restrictions. with changing codecs. The Soundpeats Air 4 Pro I had (and gave to my gf) were way better in terms of codecs working and showing, and not having to toggle and reboot constantly. LC3 worked great with a BT dongle I use at work, for MS Teams calls.  Also worked with my Pixel 8 Pro. The Soundpeats are smaller and more comfortable, but the Earfun Air Pro 4 sound better and have better battery life.

I'm hoping there will be a V5 of either/both, that addresses any issues... Wish LC3 was working properly so that calls sounded better, and the better battery life with LE/LC3 is a bonus, too.

All good points regards implementation of bluetooth codecs. .  I have also have the Sounpeats Air4 pro (great buds) - but also struggled with battery life.  Earfun much better in this regards.  I'm also finding that while the mics do well for calls (phone or MS Teams) in an office environment, they really struggle in slightly more noisy situations (moreso than other buds I've used) - with the voice being lost to noisegating as part of the the AI.  Hoping this  could be a  firmware fix?
