We are afraid that there isn't a trick for this, but we have already given feedback to our R&D team. If it's difficult for you to take earbuds out, we suggest you grab more area of the earbuds to have a try. Or you can tilt a little angle of the charging case and use the thumb to flip up one of the earbuds to see whether it will help.

Use your thumb to push up the bud. A little tricky at first but that seems to make a difference.
