UBOOM L device not connecting to pc

Hi, I am trying to run a firmware update on my UBOOM L but when I plug it into my pc holding the bluetooth button as instructed I was getting a message saying The device you connected to this pc has malfunctioned and is not recognised, I tried multiple ports and different pc's, now I'm getting the connect noise but almost immediatly after I get the windows disconnect noise. Any help? could you directly give me the windows drivers for the UBOOM L?
