Earfun Air S one earbud is blinking rapidly and won't connect

One of my earbuds is blinking very fast (faster than it normally is when im pairing mode) and I can't find any explanation as to what this means. This is compounded by the issue that I cannot get my headphones to reset, no matter what I try. I have done it succesfully once in the past, but no matter how long I hold the button now nothing happens. I've tried everything I can think of, and all of the quick fix solutions I see posted around here. Please help!

As for the issue you encountered, we kindly suggest you try the below steps.

 

1. Forcefully clean the contacts of the earbuds and the charging case with an alcoholic cotton swab/alcohol-dipped cleaning stick.

2. Rub them with clean napkins and press the earbuds with force to eliminate loose contact with the case.

3. Use the charging cable to charge the case and earbuds for 2 hours.

4. Reboot your phone and reset the earbuds.

 

Step 1. Delete the old connection from the Bluetooth device.

Step 2. Place both earbuds into the charging case.

Step 3. Keep the charging case open, then press and hold the charging case button for at least 10 seconds until the LED indicator on both earbuds flashes in purple.

Step 4. Search and reconnect “EarFun Air S".

Hello, this doesn't really answer  my questions. What is the significance of the rapidly blinking blue light? 

Also I have followed all the steps and my headphone case won't reset,  it seems holding the button does nothing at all
