Thanks to the majority of earfun customers.

It has been more than a year since the Earfun Audio app was developed and launched. Only one headset was supported at first: the EarFun Air Pro SV. As of the publication of this article, the number of earphone models supported by the app has increased to six. Our engineers have been doing their best to make this App well. But app software adaptation is not so easy. Although they have done a lot of internal testing, the app is still full of bad reviews and dissatisfaction in the review area of the Google play store. At the same time, we also know that's not the whole story, and we're ashamed of that. Therefore, if you guys have any suggestions, please reply under this post, we will listen carefully and strive to improve.

The EarFun Audio app only supports the following EarFun products:

EarFun Air Pro SV / EarFun Air S / EarFun Air Pro 2[2023 Version] /  EarFun Air Pro 3  / EarFun Free 1S / EarFun Free 2S.

Hello,

Very happy with the product (EarFun Air Pro 3) and the App so far. Using for music and TV connected to Pixel 7 pro, Philips OLED TV(GoogleTV OS) and Windows Laptop , everything is working flawlessly so far.

A few suggestions  :

1 - Dark mode GUI for the App

2 - Add some more frequency bands to the Eq ("Expert EQ mode" ?) At least one more in the 3Khz - 4 Khz region.  If not possible to add more bands, allow user to select wich frequency each slider will affect.

3 - Reactivate LE Audio option with explicit warning telling this may not be working properly and that this option needs to be turned off if any issues.

Thanks

Hi, I just received my EarFun Free Pro 2 today and after downloading the App, I realized there is no EQ adjuster for these earphones. Why is that? I need to fine tune my sound!! :(

I have an air 3 pro

I would like to see dark mode and better ui as it seems outdated

I would love to see a fit test and personalized EQ that adjusts EQ according to personal hearing loss

The apps takes some time to realize that I have my buds connected and occasionally shows that they are no products

Overall good product and I would Recommend

But there are some kinks needing to be sorted

Best of wishes 🙏🙏

Honestly I'm happy with the app, however, you want suggestions so here they are.

As others have mentioned, dark mode would be great.

The ability to track your earbuds. (Maybe this is already a thing but I haven't been able to figure out how to use it)

That's pretty much it. I mean it when I say I'm happy with the app. Keep up the good work team Earfun and keep continuing to strive for better.

App is nice for sure but it's missing 2 things I like about similar apps.

First one is the option to disable touch controls on my Air Pro 3, I love customizing them but sometimes when laying down or sleeping I like the option to disable the touch controls entirely to avoid accidental touches.

Another missing feature is a widget, I don't like having to open the app every time I want to change things on my phone, a widget is much faster and more efficient although this is not entirely necessary it's just a quality of life feature.

Another small issue I've noticed is that it takes the app 10-30 seconds to recognize my Air Pro 3's are connected. And this happens anytime I close the app and open it again, even though my buds have been connected for a long while.  After further testing this is by far the most annoying and likely the reason for such bad reviews. I sometimes have to close and reopen the app for it to detect my earbuds .

I would like to also recommend a Bluetooth list of all connected devices currently paired or connected to the earbuds, while also giving us the option to switch between devices for multipoint connection.

There are four things I would like to see improved.

1. Connectivity of the app.
Sometimes I have to wait more than 10 seconds.
2. Announcement voice
These voice announcements are outdated. It should be electronic sound or something that can be changed freely.
3. Equalizer
There are few frequencies and the range of settings is small. 10-band or parametric EQ would be better.
4.Dark Mode

I would like to have the possibility to limit the state of charge of the earbuds to e.g. 80% when kept in the case in order to extend the battery lifespan.

The fact that the earbuds get charged whenever they're in the case means that the state of charge will likely be at 100% most of the time. This can dramatically reduce the lifespan of the battery and deem the earbuds unusable in just a couple of years :/

Ideally, the case would stop charging the earbuds as soon as their state of charge reaches 80%. Or at least we should be able to configure this threshold via the app

I'm using the app with the new Earfun Free Pro 3.  I have a few suggestions.

  • App
    • Make it not dependent on logging in to an account initially.  Sometimes the user may be in a location that doesn't have good cellular or wifi signal.  In these cases, the app gets stuck for too long on the login screen before it gives up.  Make the app work immediately and do the login in the background.  I understand the need, for checking for firmware updates, but don't make the login delay the ability to use the app locally.
    • Add a widget(s) for the app.
    • The app takes longer than it should  to find & connect to the buds.  Speed that up if possible.
    • Add more EQ presets.  I really like the custom EQ I set that gradually increases through the 10 bands.  0-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-9.  Try it and see what you think.  That would be a good  one to offer as a preset.
  • On the buds (EFP3)
    • Play corresponding beep confirmations for the taps.
Tap=beep.  Tap tap=beep beep.  Tap tap tap=beep beep beep.
Let the user turn the beeps on/off in the  app.
    • The ANC is good, but make it better.
    • The call quality is good, but make it better.
    • None of the supplied tips fit me as well as Spinfit 1025s.  Make your tips more like the Spinfits.

Excellent buds and pretty good app, but there's always room for improvement.
